The "Terpsichore" is awarded to the ballet artists for achievements roles from the repertoire of the National Theater Belgrade and other theaters.
The ceremony of award "Terpsichore" will take place every year on 29 April in the International Day of Dance at the National Theater in Belgrade.
Terpsichore in Greek mythology was the protector of dance and music. Her name means "the one who loves to dance."
